To commemorate the university's rich history, LMU called on vintners who have had a longstanding relationship with the university to produce LMU Centennial Wines. These wines will be sold throughout the year and served at various centennial events.
Alumnus Steve Brutocao of Brutocao Cellars presents an award-winning 2009 Mendocino Chardonnay. Alumnus and St. Francis Winery CEO Chris Silva bottled a limited-edition Sonoma County Merlot; the 2009 Old Vines Zinfandel, previously available, is now sold out. Robert Craig of Robert Craig Winery, a long-time participant in the LMU Wine Classic, produced a 2006 Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon.
The bottle labels were designed by Jessica Wong (cabernet sauvignon, zinfandel, merlot) and Kaitlin De la Cruz (chardonnay), both LMU students majoring in the graphic design program in Studio Arts.
All wines may be purchased online directly from the wineries (links below).
