"It would have been easy for LMU in the 21st century and with an economic crisis to have created some sort of survival pack for us. It would have been easy to go into LMU and given a set of things and skills that would—the end goal being making money. And that's all fine and good but to me that's just kind of a survival pack for being in the world. Whereas I felt at least in my education and from my experience I was certainly given those skills and have the ability to survive in a 21st century world. The difference though is that in my experience LMU took it one step further and really gave me the ability and the passion to really go out and to shape the world."
